Round 16 Teams
The teams have dropped ahead of a tantalising round 16 of the 2022 TSL season.
Launceston will enjoy the return of Tasmania Devils and Allies star Colby McKercher from injury, but will be without Liam Jones for its meeting with North Launceston at Windsor Park. The Northern Bombers will be without some prime movers, with Michael Stingel, Blade Sulzberger and Seth Campbell all to miss. Talented tall Theo Ives returns, as do Lockie Mitchell and Mitch Nicholas.
Lauderdale has been bolstered for its crucial meeting with Clarence, with experienced duo Dylan Fyfe and Ed Stanley both coming into the side. Talented young gun Fletcher Hooker also returns, as will Taine Sookee, a player Allen Christensen has identified publicly as an exciting asset.
The ‘Roos have also made some key changes, headlined by the inclusion of tall forward Cam Owen, fresh from playing for the Allies as part of the NAB AFL U18 National Championships. Integral defender Luke Swinton also returns, as does Devils defender Liam Howard.
Kingborough will be without mercurial focal point Tyler Carter. Noah Clifford will also miss after coach Trent Baumeler revealed that he had been playing with a broken rib. Max Collidge and Robert Zeeman come into the side. Key position player Bailey Walker returns for North Hobart’s meeting with the Tigers, as will Hugh Williams Jnr and Under 16s young gun Harry McLeod. Tasmania Devils co-captain Sam Banks-Smith headlines the outs.
