Selection news – Round 12

Fresh from his mammoth 42-disposal and four-goal performance last weekend, Launceston captain Jobi Harper will miss the Blues’ round 12 clash with the Roos at Blundstone Arena.

Harper will miss the clash due to work commitments, with coach Mitch Thorp also making way. Premiership gun Michael Musicka headlines the inclusions, while Clarence will welcome Keren Howlett and Harry Fisher back into its side.

Brady Rees will make his long-awaited return for Kingborough this weekend against Glenorchy. The Magpies showed great improvement in last week’s loss to North Hobart, and will welcome Devils player Braidy Simpson for this clash at the Twin Ovals. Athletic ruckman Luke Brown also returns, set to replace Cam Duffy, with Nathan Blowfield also set to add some experience.

Lauderdale will see four players return – Harry Richmond, Dylan Fyfe, Will Poland and Fergus Kenny – but will be without former skipper Bryce Walsh and valuable defender Nick Hooker against North Hobart. Lachlan Payne is one of two inclusions for the Dees.
