1. Players from Lauderdale & Tigers were cited for instigating a melee early in the 3rd quarter

The match review panel deem this incident to be handled by TSL Management.

TSL to provide further correspondence to both clubs this week.

2. Josh McGuiness (Lauderdale) was reported for striking Zach Adams (Tigers) early in the 3rd quarter.

The Match Review Office has assessed the details of the incident and has determined that the action be graded as a “Low Level Offence” under wrestling.

Player Josh McGuinness (Lauderdale) to be offered a base sanction of (1) match, reduced to a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Player McGuinness (Lauderdale) has accepted the early guilty plea.

 

3. George O’Neill (Tigers) was reported for making front on contact against Billy Rolfe (Lauderdale) early in the 3rd quarter.

The Match Review Office has assessed the details of the incident and has determined that the action be graded as a “Classifiable Offence” under forceful front on contact and to be deemed as intentional conduct, with medium impact and high contact.

Player George O’Neill (Tigers) to be offered a base sanction of (3) matches, reduced to (2) matches with an early guilty plea.

Player O’Neill (Tigers) has until 8pm Monday 26th July to accept or challenge the decision.

UPDATE:
Player O’Neill has accepted the early guilty plea.

 

4. Bradley Young (North Hobart) was referred for high contact on Thomas Bennett (North Launceston) during a marking contest midway through the 4th quarter.

The Match Review Office has assessed the details of the incident and has determined that it was incidental contact in the marking contest and does not warrant a report. A free kick was the correct decision.

No further action required.

 

5. William Edmunds (North Launceston) was referred for kneeing Tyler McGinness (North Hobart) midway through the 3rd quarter.

The Match Review Office has assessed the details of the incident and has identified the offender in being #12 William Edmunds and not Declen Chugg from the initial incident referral. They have then determined that the action be graded as a “Classifiable Offence” under kneeing and to be deemed as intentional conduct, with high impact and high contact.

Player William Edmunds (North Launceston) to be offered a base sanction of (4) matches, reduced to (3) matches with an early guilty plea.

Player Edmunds (North Launceston) has until 8pm Monday 26th July to accept or challenge the decision.
