#BUPATSL MRP Results – Grand Final

The Match Review Panel sat this morning to assess a number of incidents from Saturday’s Bupa TSL and TSL Development League Grand Finals.

BUPA TSL

1.       Dakota Bannister (North Launceston) was reported for head-butting or making contact to the head against Bryce Walsh (Lauderdale)

The Match Review Panel determined the contact to be intentional, with low impact and high contact. Player Bannister has been offered a base sanction of two matches, reduced to a one match suspension with an early guilty plea.

Player Bannister has accepted a one match suspension.

2.       Bryce Walsh (Lauderdale) was referred for striking Rhyan Mansell (North Launceston)

The Match Review Panel determined the contact to be intentional, with low impact to the body. Player Walsh has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Player Walsh has accepted a reprimand.

3.       Jordan Tepper (North Launceston) was reported for making an obscene gesture to the crowd

The Match Review Panel determined Player Tepper be charged with the low level offence – obscene gesture. Player Tepper has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a low level reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Player Tepper has accepted a low level reprimand.

 

TSL DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE

4.       William Haley (North Launceston) was reported for striking Mitchell Lister (Tigers)

The Match Review Panel determined the strike to be intentional, with low impact and high contact. Player Haley has been offered a base sanction of two matches, reduced to a one match suspension with an early guilty plea.

Player Haley has accepted a one match suspension.

5.       Matthew Coad (Tigers) was referred for making contact against Matthew Cossins (North Launceston)

No further action is required.

 

6.       A referral was made to check for a potential strike against an unknown North Launceston player
