#BUPATSL MRP Results – Finals Week 1
A number of incidents from the first weekend of finals football were looked at by the Match Review Panel today, with two incidents to be heard by the Independent Tribunal on Tuesday night.
TSL
1. Ryan Matthews (Tigers) & Simon Vandervelde (Launceston) were reported for wrestling each other
No further action is required
2. Tyler Carter (Tigers) was referred for making high contact against Jacob Boyd (Launceston)
No further action is required
3. Sam Reeves (Glenorchy) was reported for head-butting or making contact with the head against Bryce Walsh (Lauderdale)
The Match Review Panel determined the action was intentional, with low impact and high contact. Player Reeves has been offered a base sanction of two matches, reduced to one match with an early guilty plea.
Player Reeves has rejected the offer of the Match Review Panel. As such, this matter will be heard by the Independent Tribunal on Tuesday 3rd September at 6:30pm.
4. Mitchel Anderton (Lauderdale) was reported for striking Jaye Bowden (Glenorchy)
The Match Review Panel determined the strike was intentional, with low impact and high contact. Player Anderton has been offered a base sanction of two matches, reduced to one match with an early guilty plea.
Player Anderton has accepted a one match suspension
5. Nick Raglione (Lauderdale) was referred for making contact against Bayley Bester (Glenorchy)
No further action is required
6. Sam Siggins (Lauderdale) was reported for striking John Geard (Glenorchy)
Due to insufficient visual evidence, this matter has been referred to the Independent Tribunal. The hearing will be on Tuesday 3rd September at 6pm.

7. Jason Gridley (Clarence) was referred for striking Tyler Martin (Lauderdale)
No further action is required
8. Jacob Smith (Clarence) was reported for making forceful front-on contact against Liam Gallagher (Lauderdale)
The Match Review Panel determined the contact was careless, with low impact and high contact. Player Smith has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a reprimand with and early guilty plea.

9. Dylan Howlett (Clarence) & Lincoln Arnold (Lauderdale) were reported for wrestling each other
No further action is required
10. Bohdi Kingston (Lauderdale) was referred for making high contact against Aiden Jackman Clarence)
The Match Review Panel determined the contact was careless, with low impact and high contact. Player Kingston has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a reprimand with and early guilty plea.
Player Kingston has accepted a reprimand.
