#BUPATSL MRP Results – Round 9

The Bupa TSL Match Review Panel assessed a number of incidents today out of round nine, with a North Hobart veteran accepting a three-match suspension.
1. Casey Brown (Launceston) was reported for rough conduct against John Geard (Glenorchy)
The Match Review Panel determined the conduct to be careless, with low impact to the head. Player Brown has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

2. Trad Duggan (Glenorchy) was reported for forceful front-on contact against Jack Donnellan (Launceston)
The Match Review Panel determined there was insufficient force to constitute a reportable offence. No further action is required.
3. Jobi Harper (Launceston) was referred for contact made to an umpire
The Match Review Panel determined the contact was caused by Harper. Player Harper has been charged with low-level misconduct. Player Harper has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a low-level reprimand with an early guilty plea.

4. Jason Bailey (Clarence) was reported for striking Taylor Whitford (North Launceston)
The Match Review Panel determined there was insufficient force to constitute a reportable offence. No further action is required.
5. Clarence & North Launceston players were referred for engaging in a melee
The Match Review Panel determined that players Gabriel Chambers (Clarence) & Jordan Tepper (North Launceston) instigated the melee. Both players have been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a low-level reprimand with an early guilty plea.

6. Matthew Ling (Clarence) & Rhyan Mansell (North Launceston) were referred for an off-ball incident
The Match Review Panel determined that the incident was caused by Player Ling. Player Ling has been charged with low-level misconduct. Player Ling has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a low-level reprimand with an early guilty plea.

7. Sam Siggins (Lauderdale) was referred for making prohibited contact to Brendan Midson (North Hobart)
The Match Review Panel determined there was insufficient force to constitute a reportable offence. No further action is required
8. Oliver Di Venuto (North Hobart) was referred for striking Edward Trupp (Lauderdale)
The Match Review Panel determined the strike to be intentional, with high impact to the head. Player Di Venuto has been offered a base sanction of four matches, reduced to a three match suspension with an early guilty plea.
Player Di Venuto has accepted a three match suspension.
