#BUPATSL Tribunal Results – Round 7

There is good news for both Glenorchy and Clarence out of the Independent Tribunal tonight, with Aiden Grace and Tyler Carter both free to play in round eight.
1. Aiden Grace (Glenorchy) was referred for making prohibited contact to the stomach/groin of Edward Trupp (Lauderdale)
Due to a lack of visual evidence, this matter was referred directly to the Independent Tribunal for their determination and heard on Tuesday 14th May at 6:00pm.
Considering the evidence presented, the Independent Tribunal found that the evidence presented by Player Trupp and the nearest officiating umpire was consistent with a low-level strike being made to the body of Player Trupp.
The Independent Tribunal subsequently applied a reprimand to Player Grace in accordance with the guidelines.
2. Zac Buechner (Clarence) was referred for an off-ball incident against Tyler Carter (Tigers)
Due to a lack of visual evidence, this matter was referred directly to the Independent Tribunal for their determination and heard on Tuesday 14th May at 6:45pm.
Player Buechner entered a not guilty plea to the charge of striking Player Carter.
The Independent Tribunal, considering the evidence presented by the officiating umpire, Player Carter and Player Buechner, found that there was insufficient evidence provided to support a charge.
The Independent Tribunal thereby found Player Buechner NOT GUILTY of striking Player Carter.
