#BUPATSL goes yellow for Road Safety Week
Round seven of the #BUPATSL season also marks Road Safety Week.
As per previous seasons and as part of the partnership between AFL Tasmania and RACT, TSL senior teams and umpires will wear yellow armbands this weekend in support of this cause.
There are many dangers outside of our control on the road; however, most of them are caused by our poor decisions. RACT and the TSL hope that Road Safety Week reminds people of the possible consequences of risky driving and how to keep all road users safe.
Many TSL players are young or inexperienced drivers and focus behind the wheel and safety on the roads is incredibly important as people are learning to drive.
Road Safety Week serves as a great reminder for all of us to drive safe and look after each other on the roads.
