#BUPATSL MRP Results – Round Two

The Bupa TSL Match Review Panel sat this morning, with one incident set to be heard at the Independent Tribunal tomorrow night. 

 

1.      Cameron Duffy (Glenorchy) was reported for striking Cooper Best (North Hobart)

This matter has been referred directly to the Independent Tribunal and will be heard at 6pm Tuesday 9th April.

2.      Aiden Grace (Glenorchy) was reported for striking Sam Darley (North Hobart)

The Match Review Panel determined that there was insufficient force to constitute a reportable offence. No further action is required.

3.      Jobi Harper (Launceston) was referred for making contact against Will Francis (Lauderdale)

This incident was not visually recorded, and Lauderdale Football Club have opted against pursuing this matter. As a consequence, no further action is required.

 

4.      Sam Siggins (Lauderdale) was referred for making umpire contact

The Match Review Panel determined that the contact was a low-level offence of unreasonable or unnecessary contact with an umpire. Player Siggins has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a low-level reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Development League

5.      Jayden Hinds (Launceston) was reported for striking Tom Ratcliffe (Lauderdale)

The Match Review Panel determined that the strike was intentional, with low impact to the head. Player Hinds has been offered a base sanction of two matches, reduced to one match with an early guilty plea.

Player Hinds has accepted a one match suspension.

6.      Ben Keiselis (Lauderdale) was reported for attempting to strike Jordan Bott (Launceston)

The Match Review Panel downgraded the charge to a low-level attempt to strike. Player Keiselis has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a low-level reprimand with an early guilty plea.

7.      Benjamin Steinbauer (Lauderdale) was reported for using abusive language towards an umpire

The Match Review Panel determined that the abusive language was a low-level offence. Player Steinbauer has been offered a base sanction of one match, reduced to a low-level reprimand with an early guilty plea.
