1. Zac Webster (Glenorchy) was reported for making contact to the head of Jacob Gillbee (Lauderdale)
The Match Review Panel determined the contact to be intentional, with low impact to the head. Due to receiving a reprimand in the Semi Final, Player Webster has an additional match added to his base sanction.
Player Webster has been offered a base sanction of three matches, reduced to two matches with an early guilty plea.
Player Webster has accepted a two-match suspension
2. Zac Webster (Glenorchy) was reported for striking Jacob Gillbee (Lauderdale)
The Match Review Panel determined the strike to be intentional, with high impact to the head. As per the national guidelines, the Match Review Panel gave strong consideration to the potential to cause injury.
This matter has been referred direct to the independent tribunal, with the matter to be heard on Wednesday 19th September.
