Round 13 RACT Insurance Player of the Year award votes are in, with a Glenorchy star moving into the outright lead.
Daniel Joseph’s dominant performance in defence was rewarded, with the star Magpie earning three votes in a big win over the ‘Roos. Jaye Bowden was also at his devastating best, booting four goals to earn two votes, with star ruckman Cameron Duffy rounding out the vote-getters.
Robbie McManus’ run and carry proved crucial for Lauderdale on Saturday afternoon, dominating around the ground to get his side into a strong position, and earning three votes for his troubles. Former Gold Coast Sun Jacob Gillbee was a handful inside forward 50, while young North Hobart star Baxter Norton also made the most of his return from the Allies to earn one vote.
Second gamer Micah Reynolds was rewarded for his stellar defensive job on Launceston star Mitch Thorp to earn maximum votes, while midfield beast Will Campbell and classy forward Luke Graham were also recognised in the Tigers’ upset win.
