RACT Insurance Player of the Year Votes – Round 11

Round 11 RACT Insurance Player of the Year votes are in, with a Clarence superstar moving to the pointy end of the leaderboard.

Jake Cox continued his impressive 2018 campaign against the Blues at Windsor Park, kicking three goals and finding plenty of the football to earn three votes ahead of mobile forward Chris Nield (five goals and two votes) and defensive rock Taylor Williamson (one vote).

Dakota Bannister broke the game open against North Hobart, booting a bag of five goals as a midfielder to earn the three votes. Consistent midfielder Josh Ponting delivered another strong performance to pick up two votes, while Tom Bennett also snuck into the votes for another good game.

Glenorchy’s Matthew Joseph was thrust forward against the Tigers and played his role with aplomb, booting five goals to register three votes. Key defender Josh Grant was impressive in his return game to collect two votes, while Tigers goalsneak Blake Grant was best on for the losing side.
