Bupa TSL Round 10 Midfielder of the Week
With round 10 of the Bupa Tasmanian State League season done and dusted, we want to know who you considered to be the premier defenders, midfielders and forwards of the round.
We now look at the engine room, with a Lauderdale star and the man at the helm of the Northern Bombers both delivering standout performances.

Phil Bellchambers (Lauderdale)
A leader at Lauderdale Oval, Bellchambers continued his impressive 2018 season with arguably his best performance to date.
Bellchambers patrolled the middle of the ground alongside Nat Franklin to help the Bombers get on top at the coalface and go on to give their forward group first use.
Hitting the scoreboard with a goal, Bellchambers’ influence was hard to ignore as the Bombers took another major step towards getting their season back on track.
Taylor Whitford (North Launceston)

Another week, another strong display from the North Launceston coach.
Whitford found plenty of the football through the middle of the ground for the Bombers, working well alongside Josh Ponting as the reigning premiers gained control.
With two exceptional finishes from the pocket, Whitford’s capacity to hit the scoreboard makes him one of the trickiest players to contain in the competition.
Second in the RACT Insurance Player of the Year award after round 10, it is clear the extra responsibility of coaching hasn’t hindered the 2017 premiership captain.
