RACT Insurance Player of the Year Votes – Round 9
Round nine RACT Insurance Player of the Year votes have landed, with three players receiving maximum votes for the first time this season.
Josh McGuinness’ impressive role in defence saw him pick up the three votes against the Magpies, with versatile swingman Ryan Wiggins and live-wire Tom Mosquito also featuring.
Sonny Whiting’s six-goal haul earned him the three votes in Launceston’s big win over the Demons, with Ryan Tyrrell and young Demon defender Bailey Walker’s efforts also recognised.
Sherrin Egger’s performance off half back and through the midfield saw him adjudged best afield against the Tigers, with fellow half back Arion Richter-Salter and gun Tiger Mitch Carter picking up two votes and one vote respectively.
