RACT Insurance Player of the Year Votes – Round 7

 

Round seven RACT Insurance Player of the Year votes have landed, with the three players rocketing up the leaderboard. 

Clarence big man Ryan Bailey took maximum votes for a second straight week, dominating in the ‘Roos win in the wet. Jake Cox was rewarded for his strong performance with two votes, while young gun Tyson Hanslow picked up his first vote for 2018.

North Launceston coach Taylor Whitford, who received top marks in round one, delivered his second best afield performance in the Grand Final replay, receiving top marks for a dominant display in the midfield that also included three majors. Tom Bennett received his third two-vote game for the season to now sit in equal second, while Arion Richter-Salter also received his first vote for the year.

Launceston x-factor Rulla Kelly-Mansell was adjudged best afield in the Blues’ nail-biting one-point win over the Magpies, while livewire forward Giacomo Millucci and Glenorchy pocket rocket Callen Daly were also recognised.

THE RACT Insurance Player of the Year is awarded to the player with the most votes at the end of the regular season as determined by votes cast by journalists after each game. The RACT Insurance Player of the Year wins a $2,500 cash prize and a $2,500 RACT Travel voucher.
