TSL MRP Round 7

The Tasmanian State League Match Review Panel sat on Monday to assess one Bupa TSL incident and two incidents from the Mercury Cup. 

Tasmanian State League

1.      Launceston & Glenorchy players were referred for engaging in a melee

The Match Review Panel determined that the incident referred did not require any further action.

Mercury Cup

2.      Conner Berry (Clarence) reported for striking Matthew Coad (Tigers)

The Match Review Panel determined the strike to be intentional, with low impact to the head. Player Berry has been offered a base sanction of two matches, reduced to one match with an early guilty plea.

Player Berry has ACCEPTED a one match ban. 

3.      Toutai Havea (Lauderdale) reported for striking Ben Ronken (North Launceston)

The Match Review Panel determined the strike to be careless, with low impact to the head. Player Havea has a one match loading applied to his sanction due to his poor record, and therefore has been offered a base sanction of two matches, reduced to one match with an early guilty plea.

Player Havea has ACCEPTED a one match ban.
