TSL MRP Round 4

The TSL Match Review Panel sat today and assessed four incidents. 

 

1. Chris Nield (Clarence) referred for striking Zach Burt (North Launceston)

The Match Review Panel determined the strike to be intentional, with low impact to the body. Player Nield has been offered a base sanction of a one match suspension, reduced to a reprimand with an early guilty plea.

Due to Player Nield’s poor record, his base sanction has been increased to a two-match suspension, reduced to one match with an early guilty plea.

Player Nield has accepted a one match suspension.

2. Tigers & Lauderdale players were referred for engaging in a melee

The Match Review Panel determined that no further action will be taken.

3. Alex Hevey (Lauderdale) referred for rough conduct against Lachlan Watt (Tigers)

The Match Review Panel determined that the action did not constitute a reportable offence. No further action will be taken.

4. Rhys Mott (Glenorchy) referred for making high contact against Michael Woods (North Hobart)

The Match Review Panel determined that the contact was intentional, with medium impact to the head. Player Mott has been offered a base sanction of three matches, reduced to two matches with an early guilty plea.

Player Mott has accepted a two match suspension.
