There was a minor change at the start of the 2015 Season, with Devonport and Burnie entering sides into the newly badged NWFL. With this change, they withdrew from entering a Development League team this season.
In what was a blistering season for Glenorchy, romping home to win the Minor Premiership. It was North Launceston who, after losing the qualifying final to Burnie, came from 3rd again to take home the Premiership and become the 2nd back to back Premiership Side in the TSL’s short history, knocking off the Magpies in the best GF for 5 years, winning by 12 points in the first “southern” Grand Final since 2010. They did this all without Daniel Roozendaal (suspended), Tom Bennett (injured) & Jay Lockhart (injured). A gutsy win from a fantastic side.
Glenorchy star Jaye Bowden was awarded the Alastair Lynch Medal, as well as being the Leading Goalkicker for the season – a fine achievement for a star of the competition.
In the Development League, Clarence reclaimed the Premiership after losing the GF in 2014 after winning it in 2013, with a suburb GF performance running out 35 point winners.
