The Magpies were given little hope against the unbeaten hot favourites but no one told Glenorchy. The visitors led at the first two changes and pushed the Dockers all the way, with Burnie gaining the ascendency in the third term with four goals to two. Both sides were only able to kick one goal each in the final quarter arm wrestle, but that was enough for Burnie to keep its unbeaten record intact for 2012.
