Katie Stanford is named as the Pies emergency, with Gennaveve Sullivan and Jade Williams coming into the side for round eleven.
Glenorchy coach, Craig Grace concedes facing the Blues will be a serious challenge.
“Launceston are a dangerous team and we need to be at our best to compete with them. We’ll continue to try and play our style of football and see how we go.”
Courtney Webb was Launceston’s only goal scorer when the sides met in round seven, with Kate McLaughlin, Brooke Thurlow, Hayley Whyte, Ange Dickson, Dearne Taylor and Ashlee Carey the Blues’ best players on the day.

Launceston coach Alex Gibbons admits the team will need to rally in the face of injuries against such a talented outfit in Glenorchy.
“For Glenorchy we will need [to] regroup and put up a really brave showing in as a team, as the weight of injuries is getting heavier by the week,” he said.
Players to Watch:
Meg Sinclair (Launceston): Sinclair played 14 matches in 2017 and was named in the best players three times. In her 2018 season Sinclair has played six games and finished in the best players on three occasions. Sinclair was named as Launceston’s best player in round 10, where she did played a key role, “Sinclair was our best player on the day who did a fantastic job on the dangerous Jacinta Limbrick,” Gibbons said post-game.
Tahlia Strong (Glenorchy): Strong has played eight matches this year and finished in the best players in her last two matches. On both occasions she was named as the second-best player on the day. Glenorchy coach, Craig Grace, states that “Strong, a first-year player coming up from Claremont under 17’s, really impressed and showed she has a great future for someone so young.”

Clarence enter the match full of confidence after three wins from its last four matches, including an impressive 25-point defeat of last season’s premier Launceston, at Windsor Park last weekend.
The Tigers will be desperate to remain competitive and keep pressure on the fourth-placed Dockers as the two teams duke it out for a place in the finals.
Players to Watch:
Jess Murphy (Tigers): Murphy played 11 matches in the 2017 season, finishing in the best players seven times. This year Murphy has played eight games and finished in the best players three times. The Tigers had the bye in round ten, but in round nine when they played Launceston, Murphy finished as the fourth best player on the day. Tigers coach, Brad Willis, said that on that day “Murphy defended strongly and led by example.”
Bronte Scott (Clarence): In her first year of TSLW Football, Scott has played eight matches and been named in the best players four times. So far second place is the highest ranking she has scored in the best players and in round 10 she was named as the sixth best player. Although Scott is new to the TSLW, she is showing continuous improvement and should be a player to keep an eye on for the remainder of the season.
